Jesus the Homeless
The sculpture is the work of Canadian artist Tim Schmalz who has created similar versions for other cities. He decided to create this piece after seeing a homeless man wrapped in a blanket in downtown Toronto a few years ago. His inspiration was Matthew 25:40, " Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did it for me."
